GREENE OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== GREENE, Jane E. DOYLE 1838 - 1887 Mrs. Jane E. Greene, who died April 3rd, 1887, was born April 6th, 1838, in White county Tenn., and was married to John F. Greene May 3rd, 1854. They moved to Missouri, in the fall of 1867, and settled in Tebo township, Henry county. She was converted to Christ and joined the Baptist Church at Calhoun, of which she was a member at her death. Her Christian life was distinguished by an unwavering faith in God. Steadfast and immovable, she rested upon the great foundation, Christ Jesus. Her bodily sufferings were great, but through them all, she remained to the last, the same unmurmuring child of God. Hence the scripture, "Blessed are the death which die in the Lord." She leaves to mourn her loss, her affectionate husband, one son, and three daughters. - D.M.D. ==================================================================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
