GREENWELL, V. Wayne 1932 - 1999

Kansas City Star Oct 20 1999 - V. Wayne Greenwell, was born May 29, 1932, in 
Lowry City, MO, to Lawrence J. and Jewell Bray Greenwell. He passed away 
October 18, 1999, at his farm in Deepwater, MO. Wayne was an Army veteran of 
the Korean conflict serving from 1952 to 1954. He was a member of to the 
Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He was a farmer and heavy equipment operator. 
On March 22, 1952, he was united in marriage to Wanda Jean Moberly. To this 
union three children were born. Wayne is survived by his wife, Jean, of the home, 
three children, James Wayne (Jim) Greenwell and his wife, Debby of Deepwater, 
MO, Deborah Jean Garcia and her husband, David of Deepwater, MO, Ronda June Ake 
and her husband John of Clinton, MO, his mother, Jewell Greenwell of Lowry City, 
MO, five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, two brothers, Bill Greenwell of 
Deepwater, MO, Raymond Greenwell of Texas, three sisters, Wanda Goan of Lowry 
City, MO, Brenda Simmons, of Clinton, MO, Rosetta Goss of Osawtomie, KS, other 
relatives and many, many friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 21, 
1999, at 1 p.m. at Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel in Osceola, MO; burial will be in the 
Deepwater Cemetery, Deepwater, MO, under the direction of Sheldon-Goodrich 
Funeral Home.
