GRIZZLE OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== GRIZZLE, Aubrey Paul 1902 - 1995 Aubrey Paul Grizzle was horn June 8, 1902, in Blairstown, the son of William Lee and Lula Louise (Lively) Grizzle. He died Monday, December 26, 1994, at the Sterling Height Nursing Home in Lawrence, Kansas, at the age of 92. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy as a signalman 2nd class for three years. He farmed in Blairstown and in McLouth, Kansas. before moving to Lawrence in the 1970s. Mr. Grizzle was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lawrence and a life member of the VFW Alfred Clarke Post #852 in Lawrence. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and three brothers. Graveside services were 11 a.m. Friday, December 30, at Blairstown Cemetery. Floyd Stumbo officiated. Pallbearers were Wendell Bergmark, Jeff Brengarth, Whitman Hanes, Tom Menzies, Phillip Brengarth, Ray McCall. Virgil Brengarth and David Leeson. Burial was in Blairstown Cemetery.
