HARTSELL, Robert Leon n/a - 1999

Kansas City Star, Dec 29 1999 - Robert Leon Hartsell, age 59, of rural Clinton, 
MO (formerly of Independence, MO), passed away Friday, December 24, 1999, at 
the University of Kansas Medical Center. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, 
December 30, at the Blackman Chapel, Kansas City, MO, where friends may call 6-
8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday. Cremation to follow. Mr. Hartsell 
was born in Foster, MO, and lived in the Kansas City - Independence, MO, area for 
over 35 years before moving to rural Clinton four years ago. He retired in 1990 
after 30 years as a tractor driver for General Motors at the Leeds plant. He also 
worked for Little Roberts Auto Salvage delivering and as a yard man. He is 
survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Hartsell, of the home; two daughters, Pamela 
Sue Roberts of Weaubleau, MO, and Tonya Michelle Sawtell of Independence, MO; 
three sons, Robert Duane Hartsell, Timothy Micah Hartsell, and Jeffrey Wayne 
Hartsell, all of Independence, MO; two sisters, Clara Belle Martin of Osceola, MO, 
and Blanche Chamberlain of East Lynn, MO; two brothers, Kenny Hartsell of Jerico 
Springs, MO, and Leroy Hartsell of Archie, MO; and nine grandchildren.
