HENSON OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== HENSON, William Edward 1926 - 1996 William Edward Henson was born February 18, 1926, in Rich Hill, the son of John L. and Lillie Dungsworth Henson. He died Thursday, October 24, 1996, at the age of 70. On June 16, 1964, in Topeka, Kansas, he was united in marriage to Carrie M. Coleman. Mr. Henson was self-employed. He was a member of the Brownington Baptist Church and had lived near Deepwater for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, Carrie of the home; three sons, Harold Henson, Lamar, Mike Henson, Wichita, Kansas, and Donnie Henson, Phoenix, Arizona; three daughters, Sharon Mahoney, Lowry City, Wanda Sheldon, Independence, Darlene Criss, Montrose; a sister, Goldie Thompson, St. Louis; 13 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 26, at the Brownington Baptist church. Rev. Alan Anzalone officiated. Special musical selections were "The Old Rugged Cross", "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "I Won't Have To Cross Jordan Alone". Organist was Harry Price. Pallbearers were Roscoe Walker, Raymond Green, Bill Elmer, Wayne Williams, Dale Snyder and Ted Meyers.
