HERRAN, Estermae HOOD abt 1914 - 1992

Mrs. Estermae Hood Herran, 78, Elwood, Ks., died Friday, Oct. 30, 1992 at a hospital in St. Joseph.  Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bellemont Cemetery, Wathena, Ks.  Mrs. Herran was born in Brownington and lived in St. Joseph before she moved to Elwood in 1959.  She worked at the St. Joseph State Hospital for 35 years and retired in 1979.  She was a member of the Elwood Baptist Church.  Her husband, Milo Herran, died in 1986.  Survivors include a daughter, LaDonna Rose Burnes, St. Joseph; a sister, Evelyn Bruce, Kansas City, Ks., and two grandchildren.
