HOTSENPILLER OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== HOTSENPILLER, Lloyd Blutcher 1904 - 1974 Lloyd Blutcher Hotsenpiller was born September 28, 1904 near Otterville, MO, in Morgan County, the son of Newton and Louisa Hotsenpiller. He passed away March 12, 1974, at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital. He attended school at Stony Point and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was united in marriage to Helen Taylor in 1931. To this union two sons, Donald Glen and Marvin Eugene, and one daughter, Judith Ann, were born. In 1950 he married Geraldine M. Childers. He worked as a steward at Colonial Hotel, Springfield, MO, for several years, then later moved to Clinton where he owned and operated Quarles Grocery and Service Station for the last 15 years. He enjoyed good health most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, three children, two sisters, Edith Eklof and Mary Hotsenpiller, both of Kansas City, also six grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Consalus Funeral Home March 14, at 2:30 p.m. Burial was in Englewood Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Bill Williams, Marion Zollicker, Bill Pennock, LeRoy Hetherington, Jim Millam, and Virgil Anderson.
