HOWARD, Isaac Lester 1884 - 1964

Isaac Lester Howard, retired farmer residing about eight miles east of Clinton, 
died about 4:25 a. m. Tuesday, Jan 21, 1964, at Wetzel Hospital where he had been 
a patient since Jan 11. Mr. Howard is the father of Mrs. Wilson Tally and Mrs. 
Norman Lasswell, Clinton. A son, Wilbur Wayne, lives in Los Angeles, CA. Funeral 
services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Jan 23, 1964, at Consalus Funeral 
Chapel with burial in Englewood Cemetery.


HOWARD, Maude Elsia BUCHANAN 1888 - 1985

Maude Elsia Buchanan was born in Westport, MO, January 19, 1888. The daughter 
of Harvey Newton Buchanan and Mahalia Creizan Buchanan she was married to 
Lester Howard in 1907. To this union was born 3 children, Grayce Tally of 
Clinton, Wayne Howard of Independence, Helen Locke of Raymore. All of whom 
survive. Also surviving are two sisters, Floy Maul of Clinton, Nell Cummings of 
Clinton and a brother, Arlie Buchanan, also of Clinton, one sister and two 
brothers preceding her in death. She passed away at Golden Valley Hospital, May 
23, 1985, at the age of 97 years, 4 months. Funeral services were Saturday, May 
25, at 2 p.m. at the Consalus Chapel. Burial was in Englewood Cemetery.
