HUTSON OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== HUTSON, Lois J. HARGRAVE n/a - 1998 Lois J. Hutson, 69, Peculiar, MO, died Wednesday, November 18, 1998, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City. Funeral services will be 11 a. m. Friday, November 20, at Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville. Burial will be in Peculiar Cemetery. Survivors include her mother, Margaret K. Hargrave, Clinton; her husband of 49 years, Wilbur C. Hutson, of the home; daughters and sons-in law, Sherry and Mart Staton, Denver, CO and Lynn and Jimmy Cartwright, Peculiar; sons and daughters- in-law, David and Kathy Hutson, Peculiar, and Dean and Betty Hutson, Harrisonville; one brother, Orval Hargrave, El Dorado Springs; her twin sister, Louise Wilson, Lincoln; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. HUTSON, Robert Carl 1931 - 1995 Robert Carl Hutson was born April 24, 1931, in Mulberry, Kansas, the son of Charles Edward and Erma Mae Houston Hutson. Robert served his country in the United States Air Force during the 1950s. He specialized as a jet engine mechanic and was awarded the National Defense Service and the Good Conduct medals. Robert worked for many years with the Peabody Coal Company as a heavy equipment operator and later with Deffenbaugh Industries. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had served as a deacon. Robert died Sunday, September 17, 1995, in Paola, Kansas, at the age of 64. He is survived by three sons, Gary Curtis Whitworth of Tennessee, Terry Kim Hutson of Olathe, Kansas, Robert Charles Hutson of Jefferson City; a daughter, Wendy Suzanne Elgin of Warrensburg; three brothers, Wilbur Hutson of Peculiar, James Hutson of Clinton, Benjamin Hutson of Wyoming, and five grandchildren, Lucas, Rebekah, Caleb, Chase and Torie Beth. He was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Rose. Funeral services were 2 p. m. Wednesday, September 20, at the First Baptist Church in Clinton. Rev. Don Eaton officiated. Don Eaton sang "Amazing Grace" and "The Lord's Prayer", accompanied by Scott Brooks, organist. Pallbearers were Wilbur Hutson, James Hutson, Benjamin Hutson, Dean Hutson, Jeff Phillips and Phillip Elgin. Burial was in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton.
