KIMBROUGH, Effie C. LAWSON 1895 - 1971

Mrs. Effie C. Kimbrough, former Henry County School Superintendent, died Monday, 
February 15 at Research Hospital in Kansas City. Mrs. Kimbrough, 75, of 413 E. 
Green, Clinton, succeeded her husband, Oscar Kimbrough, as county 
superintendent on his death in 1957, and served in this capacity for several 
years. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church with 
burial in Englewood Cemetery.
