Kansas City Star, Jun 4 2000 - James A. Lewis, 63, of Deepwater, MO, (formerly 
of Kansas City, MO), passed away Saturday, June 3, 2000, at Golden Valley 
Memorial Hospital, Clinton, MO. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 
at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton; burial in Deepwater Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, at the chapel. The family suggests 
contributions to the James A. Lewis Memorial Scholarship, to be given each year 
to a graduating senior from Northeast Vernon County High School, the American 
Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association. (Arrangements: Vansant-Mills
