LITTON, Earl Raymond 1928 - 2000

Kansas City Star, Jun 1 2000 - Earl Raymond Litton, 71, of Clinton, MO, passed 
away May 30, 2000, at Golden Valley Hospital, Clinton, MO, from cancer. Funeral 
services will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2000, at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, 
Clinton, MO; burial in Stover, MO, with graveside military service. Friends may 
call at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 1, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may 
be made to American Cancer Society or any anti-tobacco organization. Mr. Litton 
was born October 20, 1928, in Marshall, MO. He was a member of the Marine Corp 
and various components of the U.S. Army and Army National Guard. At the time of 
his retirement he was a Chief Warrant Officer 4. He served in the armed forces 
for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul E. Litton, mother, 
Virgie Green, brother, Charles Litton, and wife, Shirley B. Litton. Survivors 
include Norma Gene Litton, wife in Clinton, MO; Ronald R. Litton, son, Olathe, KS; 
Reva Bond, daughter, Atlantic Beach, FL; Carla K. Figg, daughter, Lee's Summit, 
MO; and grandchildren, Jessica, Kelly, Lara, Ashley, Nicole and Ryan.
