MILLER OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== MILLER, Doris Elaine DALTON 1948 - 1995 Doris Elaine Dalton Miller was born into this world on March 14, 1948, in Clinton, the daughter of Lee Roy and Doris (Lawson) Dalton. After a seven year battle with cancer, she died Friday, January 20, 1995, at the Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the age of 46. A graduate of Calhoun High School, her vocation was that of homemaker (in the true and full sense of that word), as she and John Miller shared 30 years of life together. She was a lifelong resident of the Clinton area until moving to Decatur, Arkansas, eight years ago. For Elaine, her family was very important. Even through her illness, she continued caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, parents and wider family. People were of utmost importance to her and she was always concerned about others; which means that she had a lot of friends, and recognized the nourishing value in friendship in our lives. She is survived by her husband, John Miller of the home; one son, Paul Miller, Decatur, Arkansas; one daughter, Stacey Willcockson, Sullivan, Indiana; her parents, Lee Roy and Doris Dalton, Deepwater; two brothers, Roy Dalton, Wheatland and Roger Dalton, Calhoun; three sisters, Joy Van Oster, Decatur, Arkansas, Kathy Jamsek, Hutchinson, Kansas, Eileen Millam, Clinton, and two grandchildren, Cody and Kaylee; also 33 nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, at the Consalus Chapel in Clinton. Rev. Howard Cup officiated. Musical selections were Amazing Grace by Judy Collins and Wind Beneath My Wings by Gary Morris. Pallbearers were Mike Clifton, Mike Miller, Merle Corum, Dan Pinkston, Jim Cox, Willard Van Oster, Gerald Schlessman, Rick Millam, Carl Willcockson, and Garry Hook. Burial was in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. MILLER, Lee Merlyn 1948 - 1997 Lee Merlyn Miller, 48, Windsor, died late Tuesday evening, September 2 1997, at his home in Windsor. He was born December 4, 1948, in Independence, the son of Merlyn R. Miller and Nellie Lee (Christian) Miller. Mr. Miller was a member of the Windsor United Methodist Church, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Navy Unit Commendation and the Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Star. He as a member of the Disabled Veterans and the VFW, Kansas City. Survivors include his parents of Windsor; a daughter, Ginger Miller, Windsor, and a son, Paul Hines, Clinton. Funeral services will be Friday, September 5, 10 a.m., at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with the Rev. Dr. Judith G. May officiating. Burial will be in the Christian Cemetery in Ionia. Friends may call Thursday from noon to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions be made to the Twin Lakes Hospice, Windsor. MILLER, Robert Keith n/a - 1999 Kansas City Star Oct 10 1999 - Robert Keith Miller, 76, Clinton, MO (formerly of Kansas City, MO), passed away Thursday, October 7, 1999, at Clinton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Clinton. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Monday, October 11, at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. Monday at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association and may be left at the funeral home.
