Kansas City Star, Dec 9 1999 - Edith Nairn, 80, passed away Wednesday, 
December 1, 1999, at home. Funeral services were December 8; burial in 
Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas 
City Hospice. Mrs. Nairn was born March 25, 1919, in Clinton, MO. She was a 
member of the First Baptist Church of Raytown. She was preceded in death by her 
parents; three sisters; and five brothers. Survivors include her husband, Robert 
Nairn, of the home; daughter, Loretta Newell, Raytown, MO; children, Robert 
Hughes, Laurie, MO, Wayne Hughes, Costa Mesa, CA, Paul Hughes, Excelsior 
Springs, MO, and Pauline Bronston, Raymore, MO; stepsons, Robert Nairn Jr., 
Elkhart, KS, and Roger Nairn, Broomfield, CO; stepdaughters, Judith Rapue, Tigard, 
OR, Mary Finn, Elkhart, KS, Arlene Lackey, Mountain Home, AR, and Holly Tolliver, 
Lakeview, AR; sister, Mary Lotte-Daehnke, Raytown, MO; nine grandchildren; 12 
great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. (Arrangements:
