NEUENSCHWANDER OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== NEUENSCHWANDER, Alfred A. n/a - 1995 Alfred A. Neuenschwander, 86, Deepwater, died Sunday, October 15, 1995, at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. Mr. Neuenschwander was born near the Valley Center community and was a lifelong area resident and farmer. He was a member of the St. Clair County Extension Council and 4-H leader. He was a member of the Valley Center United Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Helen of the home; two sons, Art Neuenschwander of Deepwater and John Neuenschwander of Longview, Washington; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Fulwider, Deepwater, Mrs. Pat Stewart, Lowry City, and Mrs. Joan Simmons, Holt Summit; two brothers, Amos and Dan Neuenschwander of Deepwater; one sister, Mrs. Anna Shy of Lowry City; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandsons. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 18, at 2 p.m. at the Valley Center United Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Valley Center Cemetery. NEUENSCHWANDER, Walter Charles 1902 - 1992 Walter Charles Neuenschwander, a resident of Livermore, Ca. since 1985, died from a sudden illness Thursday, November 12, 1992 at Eden Hospital. He was 90 years old. He was born in Oklahoma City, Ok. July 26, 1902. About the age of five years his folks moved to the Valley Center vicinity south of Deepwater, where he grew to manhood. Mr. Neuenschwander was a graduate of Warrensburg College, a retired chemist for the federal government, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Livermore. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Catherine Babler Neuenschwander of Livermore; his son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Donna Neuenschwander of Livermore; his sisters, Hilda Laughman of West Covina, and Esther Tompkins of Deepwater; a granddaughter, Debra Millar of Kenya, Africa; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 18, 1992 at the Chapel of Callaghan Morturary, Livermore. The Rev. William Nebo officiated.
