NEWBILL, John W. (Jack) 1923 - 1996

John W. (Jack) Newbill, 72, Windsor, died Monday, January 22, 1996, at his home 
near Windsor. He was born Nov 6, 1923, in Bowen, the son of Howard S. Newbill 
and Grace E. Humphrey Newbill. On Aug 29, 1943, in Windsor, he married Norma G. 
Netsch, who survives of the home. Mr. Newbill lived in the Windsor area until 
1941, when he moved to Independence and began his career with Hallmark Cards. 
He retired in 1984, as Corporate Director of Purchasing, after 37 years of 
employment. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Debbie Eklund; 
a sister, Genevieve Evrard, a brother, Bob; a grandson, John Townley and a 
granddaughter, Brooke Townley. Funeral services were January 25 at the Hadley 
Funeral Home in Windsor. Burial was in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor.
