O'DELL, Dixie Lea SNIDER 1932 - 1996

Dixie Lea O'Dell, 64, Adrain, died Tuesday, May 14, 1996, at the Bates County 
Memorial Hospital in Butler. She was born March 14, 1932, in Appleton City, the 
daughter of George and Dorothy Belew Snider. She was preceded in death by her 
husband, Harry "Bud" O'Dell, and her brothers, Chester Snider and Charlie Snider. 
She is survived by her son, Kenny Swisher of Belton; her daughter, Nancy Bateman 
of Newport, Washington; her brothers, Bill Snider of Caldwell, Idaho, and Cecil 
Snider of Montrose; her sister, Reva Swater of Denison, Iowa; four grandchildren 
and one great-grandchild. Her body was donated to KU Medical Center. 
Arrangements were under the direction of the Underwood-Steinbeck Funeral 
Home.


O'DELL, Edward S. 1907 - 1992

Edward O'Dell, 85, Hyde Park Nursing Home in Kansas City, died Monday, November 
23, 1992 at Menorah Medical Center. He is survived by two brothers, Robert O'Dell 
of Lakeland, Florida, and Byron O'Dell of Crawfordsville, Indiana. Neva Mining of 
Clinton is a step-daughter. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at 
Englewood. Sickman-Dunning is in charge of arrangements. The Rev. Stan 
Littleton of the Assemby of God will conduct the graveside services. Mr. O'Dell 
was a Navy veteran of World War II.
