ARCHER 1914 - 1998 The Kansas City Star, Sunday, Dec 13 1998 - Thelma E. (Archer) O'Meara, 84, Grandview, MO. passed away, December 11, 1998, at Life Care Center of Grandview. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a. m. Monday, December 14, at Holy Rosary Church, 226th & Metcalf; interment at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Wea, Kansas. Friends may call 6-8 p. m., Saturday, December 12, at the funeral home, with a rosary at 7 p. m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society. Mrs. O'Meara was born August 4, 1914, in Kansas City, MO. She was a retired manager for Soil Service Nursery, retiring in 1975. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Church. She was also a member of Southside Senior Center. She and her husband, Thomas P. O'Meara, lived in Council Grove, Kansas, and were members of St. Rose Catholic Church for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Thomas P. O'Meara, in 1991; and three brothers, John D. Archer, Howard W. Archer Sr. and Russell P. Archer. Survivors include sons, Jerry Joe O'Meara, Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, Russell Thomas O'Meara, Stillwell, Kansas, and Daniel Kelly O'Meara, Kansas City, MO.; daughters, Mary Jane Atchity, Kansas City, MO., Barbara Jane Tozer, Lake Eufaula, OK. and Nancy Bell Ewing, Belton MO.; 17 grandchildren, and 12 great- grandchildren. Pall bearers will be William T. Olson, Jerry Joe O'Meara Jr., Daniel K. O'Meara Jr., Russell T. O'Meara Jr., Thomas J. O'Meara, Joseph M. DeAnglo, Howard W. Archer Jr., and John D.
