ORGAN OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== ORGAN, Emily B. LaHUE 1906 - 1991 Emily B. Organ, daughter of N. C. and Catherine Birth LaHue, was born March 9, 1906 in Clinton, Mo., and passed away Oct. 30, 1991 at Independence Medical Center, Independence. She attended the Clinton School system. She was married to Charles Organ, February 7, 1923. To this union eight children were born. The family moved to Kansas City in 1943. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, also a member of Rebekah Lodge and Royal Neighbors of America. She was employed in the Northeast High School cafeteria from 1955 to 1966. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and one son, Norman. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth of Sandpoint, Id.; Donald J. of St. Louis; Five daughters, Bonnie L. Smith of Clinton, Janice DeMayo, Raytown, Charlene S. Hughes, Kansas City, Sandra K. Padgham, Wichita, Ks., Gloria A. Rose, Bell Flower, Ca.; one brother, Marshall M. LaHue, Seattle Was.; 15 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews. Services were held November 2, 1991 at 10 a.m. at the White Avenue United Methodist church with Rev. Charles Young officiating under direction of Shields Funeral Home. Songs were How Great Thou Art and Just a Closer Walk With Thee by Lee and Zelda Owens. Graveside services were at 3 p.m. at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, conducted by Rev. Frederick Zahn of the Clinton United Methodist Church.
