OWENS OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== OWENS, Mary Anna HULL 1880 - 1934 Mrs. L. A. Owens Dead - Mary Anna Hull was born Feb. 11, 1880, in Wright county, Missouri. She professed faith in Christ at the age of twelve years and became a member of the Methodist church at Mountain Grove, Missouri. She remained a member of that church until October 1915, when she joined the Baptist church at Searcey, Arkansas. Mr. and Mrs. Owens moved to Windsor in 1919, and she became a member of the Windsor Baptist church. She was married to Louis Andrew Owens on March 1, 1896, at Mountain Grove, Missouri. Three children were born to this union, Floyd of Clyde, Texas; Mrs. Harve Hager, of Clinton, Missouri, and Melvin of Windsor. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. C. E. Elbert of Denver, Colorado, and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mrs. Owens entered into rest at her home in Windsor, Thursday, December 6th, at the age of 64 years, after a lingering illness. She was a Christian woman, a devoted wife and mother and a good friend and neighbor. Funeral services, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Geo. C. Humphrey, were held from the Windsor Baptist church, Saturday, December 8th. Interment was in the Calhoun Cemetery.
