PALMER OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== PALMER, Minnie P. WRIGHT 1875 - 1932 A Sudden Death - This community was shocked and saddened Sunday morning by the announcement that Mrs. Minnie P. Palmer, wife of Roy K. Palmer, cashier of the Citizens Bank, had died suddenly at the family home Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Palmer had spent the evening at the home of Mrs. James Goodin and were on the road home when she became suddenly ill of heart trouble. She passed away a few moments after entering the home. Mrs. Palmer was a kind, loving wife and mother, and a fine neighbor, liked and esteemed by all. Minnie P. Wright, daughter of Major I. Wright and Rhoda Gordon Wright, was born July 2, 1875, at Jefferson City, Mo., and died in Windsor, Mo., Dec. 31, 1932, at the age of 57 years five months and 29 days. On August 17, 1901, she was married to Roy K. Palmer. Surviving are the husband, four children of this union, viz; Mrs. Lucy Scrogham of Peoria, Ill.; I. Walker and Roy L. Palmer of South Bend, Indiana, and Howard B. Palmer of Windsor, Mo.; two grandchildren, Betty Ruth Scrogham and Jay K. Palmer, and one brother, Van N. Wright, of Fresno, Calif. She joined the Baptist church in early life and after her marriage she united with the Presbyterian church with her husband. She had been an active member of the Eastern Star for many years. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church by Rev. G. E.
