PAYNE, Etta Mae SHARP 1900 - 1992

Etta Mae Payne, 92, Fullerton, Ca., passed away Thursday, November 19, 1992 at 
the Carriage House Manor in Fullerton, Ca. She was born March 25, 1900 in 
Severance, Ks., the daughter of Martin and Lulu T. (Clifford) Sharp. She had lived 
in Oregon, Colorado, and Strasburg, Mo. from 1925 to 1927, when she moved to 
Kansas City. She moved to Fullerton, Ca. in 1945. She married Jesse Ray Payne in 
Falar, Colorado in 1921. He preceded her in death August 8, 1975. Mrs. Payne was 
a homemaker. She leaves three sons, Martin Birtwell Payne, Anaheim, Ca., Calvin 
Payne, Olathe, Ks., and Jesse Payne, Jr., Santa Ana, Ca.; six grandchildren and 
eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 
24, 1992 at Ben Cast & Son-Wood funeral Home, Holden, with Rev. Steve Shearer 
officiating. Pallbearers were Bruce Payne, Randy Payne, Brian Payne, Bill 
Strange, Bill Crownover, David King. Burial was in Holden Cemetery, Holden.
