PENNOCK OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== PENNOCK, Fannie Mae n/a - 1981 Fannie Mae Pennock, 81, died at Golden Valley Hospital Sunday, Sept 20, 1981. She lived on route one, Clinton. She is survived by two sons, William Joe and Danny Pennock, both of route one; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Sudduth, Shelbina, MO Services were at Consalus Funeral Home with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Boonville, MO. PENNOCK, Joe C. n/a - 1972 Joe C. Pennock died Thursday, January 20, 1972, at the Boone County Hospital in Columbia. He was a former resident of Clinton and was employed by Missouri Public Service. He leaves his wife, Fanny Pennock, of the home; and three sons: Danny, of Clinton, William J. of Quarles, and Lewis of Boonville. Funeral services were held Saturday at the William-Wood Funeral Home. Burial was in Boonville, MO. PENNOCK, Melissa Ann 1988 - 1988 Melissa Ann Pennock, infant daughter of Daryl and Janie Pennock, died Monday, April 11, 1988, at Golden Valley Hospital. She was born April 11, 1988. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a step-brother, Troy Roskop, of the home. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Consalus Chapel, with Father Wayne Walter officiating. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery. PENNOCK, William Joseph 1936 - 1988 Funeral services for William Joe Pennock were held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 31, 1988, at Consalus Chapel, with Dr. Ronald Chastine officiating. Don Eaton sang Beyond the Sunset, with Helen Shrout at the organ. Pallbearers were Henry Scraggs, Don Millam, Jim Millam, Melvin Childers, Bob Cook and Keith Henry. Honorary bearers were Marvin Burch, Orvil Moffitt, and Harless Tillman. Burial was in Englewood. William Pennock was born August 30, 1936 in Boonville, MO, to Joe C. Pennock and Fannie Mae Crowley Pennock. He died October 27, 1988. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, a brother, Lewis and a granddaughter, Melissa. He leaves his wife Gretchen, of the home; one son, Daryl, and a daughter- in-law, Janie; a grandson, Troy and a brother, Danny. Mr. Pennock attended grade school in Boonville. His parents moved to Sedalia where he had his first year of high school. They later moved to Clinton, where he finished schooling. On June 5, 1955, he married Gretchen Tubbesing of the Quarles community. He started his working career as a service station attendant. He also worked for REA at Butler and then went to Missouri Public Service Co. He then turned to farming in 1959. They later purchased a truck for water hauling. The latter two were his pride and joy, as he loved the outdoors. He was well liked by everyone who knew him. He enjoyed meeting and talking to people on his water route. He will be missed by family and his many friends.
