POAGUE, Jean Woolfolk LIPPINCOTT 1909 - 1999

Jean Lippincott Poague, 90, Clinton, died Friday, February 19, 1999, at Westwood 
Nursing Home in Clinton. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, 
February 23, at the Consalus Chapel in Clinton. Mrs. Poague will lie in state from 
8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Englewood 
Cemetery in Clinton. Mrs. Poague was born January 18, 1909, in Chicago, Illinois, 
the daughter of Benjamin Harris and Mary Ellen (Ragland) Lippincott. She married 
Henry Frederick Poague on March 26, 1933, and had lived in the area since that 
time. Mr. Poague preceded her in death on May 30, 1971. She is survived by two 
great-nephews, J. O. Heigel, Leawood, Kansas, and Wayde Heigel, Philadelphia, 
Pennsylvania, and one great-niece, Christina Bailey, Evergreen, Colorado.
