POLZIN, Edith Jeanette PARKER 1920 - 1993

Mrs. Edith Jeanette Polzin of Creighton was born April 19, 1920 in Heck Canyon, 
New Mexico, the daughter of Robert and Anna (Green) Parker. She died July 26, 
1993 at Northwood Hills Health Care Center, Humansville, at the age of 73 years, 
3 months and 7 days. Edith married Paul Leo Polzin in September of 1940. Edith 
was a homemaker and had lived in Kansas City, Kansas before moving to 
Creighton in 1954. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Creighton. 
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Parker, Jr. 
and a sister, Dorothy Bonner. She is survived by her husband, Paul L. Polzin of the 
home; three sons, Larry R. Polzin, Columbus, Ohio, Richard P. Polzin, Lee's 
Summit, Keith Polzin, Creighton; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 
two brothers, Fred Parker, Raton, New Mexico, John Parker, Ava; other relatives 
and many friends. Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Friday, July 30, 1993 at 
Trinity Lutheran Church, Creighton, with Rev. Jeffrey E. Mortenson officiating. 
Pallbearers were Jeff B. Polzin, Richard D. Polzin, Scott A. Polzin, Scott D. 
Polzin, with burial in Lutheran Cemetery near Creighton. Services were under 
direction of Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City.
