PREWETT OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== PREWETT, William Wesley 1836 - 1896 Clinton MO - Died at the family residence on East Green, June 3, 1896, after a short illness, W. W. Prewett, well known and respected citizen. He was born December 25, 1836 in Baltimore, Md. and at the age of 2, removed with his parents to Belmont county, Ohio, where he grew to manhood. He was married Jan. 1, 1863 to Elizabeth J. Amos of Monroe county, Ohio and their union was blessed with several children. He engaged in farming until 1881 when he came to Henry county, locating on the Ashby farm 3 miles northeast of Clinton, where he lived till a few years ago when he moved to Clinton. Since then he has been engaged in handling stock. A member of the M.
