PRIDGEN OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== PRIDGEN, Herbert R. 1907 - 1973 Herbert R. Pridgen, 66, of Houston, formerly of Independence, died Friday at a Houston Hospital. He was born in Calhoun, Missouri, and had lived in Independence 20 years before moving to Texas in 1960. Mr. Pridgen was a retired truck driver for the Steel Haulers Company. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mildred I. Pridgen of the home; two sons; George R. Pridgen, Houston, and Jerry A. Pridgen, League City, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Bollinger, 1402 S. Home, Independence, and Mrs. Carol Sue Johnson, Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Zetta Chapman and Mrs. Grace Burch, both of Clinton, MO. and Mrs. Lola Chapman, Calhoun; 18 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the chapel. (b: Nov 1 1907 - d: Nov 2 1973) PRIDGEN, Jessie D. n/a - 1898 Clinton MO, May 28 1898 - Jessie Pridgeon was buried Thursday at the Calhoun cemetery. He was 75, an old and respected citizen and a veteran of the Mexican war. Four children: one daughter in St. Louis; one son in Deepwater; John and William live near Calhoun. Boys, we can sympathize with you in your sore affliction. PRIDGEN, Mildred Irene HERNDON n/a - 1993 Mrs. Mildred Irene Pridgen, 83, Canyon Lake, Texas, formerly of Windsor and Independence, died Sunday, October 10, 1993 at a hospital in San Antonio. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Newcomer's Flora Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Mrs. Pridgen was born in Windsor and lived in the Kansas City area before moving to Canyon Lake 34 years ago. Her husband, Herbert R. Pridgen, died in 1973. Survivors include two sons, George R. Pridgen and Jerry A. Pridgen of Canyon Lake; two daughters, Joan Bollinger, Independnce, and Carol S.
