PRINCE OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== PRINCE, Fannie M. SALMON 1859 - 1886 The Clinton Eye Sep 18 1886 - In The Better World - Last December, Miss Fannie M. Salmon became the bride of R. E. Prince and together, after a short honeymoon, they settled in Corsicana, Texas, followed by the best wishes of Mrs. Prince's host of friends here. They reluctantly gave consent to her departure, knowing that one of the brightest jewels of womanhood had been taken from us, never to be replaced, for by all - rich or poor - she was loved, and thus it was hard to part. Her home was a happy one in the adopted country, but earth's brightest flower will fade when stricken with the fearful fever now prevalent in that state, and in one week's time, death called her home. Her mother, Mrs. G. Y. Salmon, arrived but a few minutes before. Monday morning the remains arrived and were taken to the residence of Dr. G. Y. Salmon and at three, the funeral was preached by Dr. Moad at the C. P. Church, after which all that was mortal of Mrs. Fannie Prince was laid to rest in Englewood. ==================================================================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
