REAM OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== REAM, Alice LOMAX 1902 - 1994 Funeral services for Mrs. Floyd (Alice) Ream, 92, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 in the Green Room at the church. Burial will be in Englewood. The family suggests that any memorials go to the Golden Valley Hospital's skilled nursing unit. These may be left at Sickman-Dunning Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ream died Sunday, October 30, 1994, at Golden Valley Hospital. She had been in failing health for a number of months. Mrs. Ream, daughter of John C. and Agnes Bargar Lomax, was born August 19, 1902, in northern Chariton County near LaClede. She was the oldest of five children. She graduated from Forker High School which was the first consolidated school in Missouri and taught five years in rural grade school after which she earned her B.S. degree in Vocational Home Economics at Northeast State University. On August 3, 1934, she married Floyd H. Ream, a pharmacist and proprietor of the C. C. Williams Drug Store in Clinton. She assisted her husband in their business until 1947 when they sold the drug store. At that time Mr. Ream became administrator of the Wetzel Osteopathic Hospital in Clinton and she again joined him, serving as dietitian of the hospital for 22 years. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy McIntosh and her husband, Holland McIntosh and their daughters, Heather, Kendra, Shaunna and Kerry, Mission Kansas. Two nephews, Dr. Carroll Wetzel and Dr. Gus Wetzel have been very close to their aunt and have cared for her, especially since the death of Mr. Ream. Throughout her entire life, as long as she was able, she was an active member of the Methodist Church and the Methodist Women's organization, holding offices in both. She was a member of Chapter EN, P.E.O., the Henry County Historical Society, the Henry County Republican Ladies and a charter member of the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, father and mother, two sisters, Beatrice Wetzel and Vesta Sundelius and a brother, Dr. William D. Lomax. Surviving are her daughter, Peggy and family; a brother, Carroll K. Lomax of LaClede; nieces, Karen Hollenbeck of Montrose, Co., and Sara Church of Moss Beach, Ca.; nephews, Carroll and Gus Wetzel of Clinton, David Lomax of Denver, Co., Clay Lomax of Montrose, Co., and John Sundelius of Lewistown, Montana. REAM, Conrad Wray "Mike" 1912 - 1993 Conrad Wray Ream, Sr., 80, formerly of Windsor, died Monday, March 22, 1993 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City. - Conrad W. "Mike" Ream was born December 20, 1912, in Kidder, Mo., the son of Wesley and Virginia Elizabeth (Wray) Ream. He passed away March 22, 1993 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City. Mr. Ream was married to Wanda Marie Wilson on July 14, 1934, and to this union four sons were born. He was a supervisor for General Motors. They came to live in Clinton in 1970, Wanda preceded him in death on April 5, 1978. In 1980 Mike moved to Windsor. He is survived by four sons, Conrad Ream, Jr., Valparalso, Ne., Charles Ream and Larry Joe Ream, both of Windsor, and Robert Earl Ream, Clinton; two sisters, Virginia Hart, Sugar Creek, and Dorothy Fisk, Phoenix, Az.; fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 1993 at Consalus Chapel, Clinton, with Rev. Don Eaton officiating. Music was Amazing Grace and Over the Sunset Mountain. Pallbearers were Gary Wilson, Paul Wilson, Chris Wilson, Dennis Wilson, John Wilson, Jeremy Wilson. Burial was in Englewood Cemetery. REAM, Lucille I. OUSLEY 1925 - 1993 Ms. Lucille I. Ream, 68, of Windsor, died Wednesday, December 22, 1993 at Golden Valley Hospital. She was born July 1, 1925 in Newburg, Mo., the daughter of Crawford Arnold Ousley and Ruth Irene Hudgens Ousley. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church at Windsor. Survivors include two brothers, Raymond Ousley, Kernes City, Texas, Roy Lee Ousley, Longview, Texas; a half- brother, Ronnie Ousley, Springfield; a sister, Reba Caradonna, St. Louis; a half sister, Linda Childress, Dallas, Texas, several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Monday, December 27, at 2 p.m. at the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, with Rev. Welby Jones officiating.
