REYNOLDS OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== REYNOLDS, Harold Edward n/a - 2000 Kansas City Star, Jan 26 2000 - Harold Edward Reynolds, 64, Concordia, MO, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2000, at North Kansas City Hospital. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, MO. No visitation. Harold was born in Luxora, AR, and had lived in Concordia for the past 32 years. He worked for Moor Man Feeds for 32 years and was District Sales Manager. He is survived by his wife, Alice of the home; two sons, Mark Reynolds of LaMonte, MO, and Gary Reynolds of Concordia, MO; one daughter, Monda Reynolds of Warrensburg, MO; one brother, Tom Reynolds of Linneus, MO; as well as six grandchildren. (Arrangements: Vansant-Mills Funeral Home) REYNOLDS, Jack M. 1934 - 2000 Clinton Daily Democrat, Jan 24 2000 - Jack M. Reynolds, Lt. Col. (Ret.) MSWP, made his transition from this world to a much better one on January 6, 2000, at Golden Valley Hospital. He was born December 8, 1934, in Henry County, the son of Clyde B. and Helen Hand Reynolds. He was educated in the Windsor School System and Lincoln University in Jefferson City. Jack was with the Missouri State Water Patrol for 23 years. He retired in 1990 and returned to his home town of Windsor as chief of police where he served until becoming sheriff of Henry County in 1993. His achievements were many. He spent years helping to develop the Missouri State Water Patrol in to the professional organization it is today. He served as a boating law administrator on various committees that help set the standards of law on the federal level. On May 1, 1976, he married Pamela Crowder at Lake Ozark Christian Church in Lake Ozark. Jack was a member of the Christian Church of Clinton. He became active in Democratic politics at an early age and enjoyed being involved even has his deteriorating health restricted his activities. He was a life member of the Clinton Elks Lodge, Windsor Lions Club, Henry County democratic Club and the Windsor Odd Fellows. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde B. Reynolds. Survivors include his wife, Pam, of the home; son, Jack, Jr., Gladstone; son, Vance, Clinton; mother, Helen Wood, Clinton; granddaughter, Tabi Bussey and husband, Brandon, Longview, Texas, and the children's mother, Mary Jo Embree Reynolds, Clinton. Also surviving are Bill and JoAnna Crowder, Larry and Sharon Crowder, Danny and Karen Crowder, Ron and Gloria Crowder, Debbie and David Burrow, Karen and Andy Lasswell and their families. A celebration of his life was held on January 8 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, under the direction of Consalus Funeral Home. Dr. David Maggi officiated the services. The eulogy was given by Johnson County Sheriff Charles Heiss. Soloist and longtime friend Dick Fleming sang "Where You There" and "Amazing Grace" accompanied by organist Sam Lucas. Pallbearers and Honor Guard were uniformed Missouri State Water Patrol Officers. Burial was in Englewood Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. To say that Jack will be missed by his family and friends is an understatement. He was bigger than life, such a loving husband, father, son and grandfather.
