RUFFIN OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== RUFFIN, Susie M. CRAIG 1892 - 1966 The Sedalia Democrat (Pettis Co, MO) Feb 14 1966 - Mrs. Susie Margaret Ruffin, 73, 307 East Benton, Windsor, died at the Windsor hospital at 6 a.m. Sunday. Born in Chariton County, Mo., April 21, 1892, the daughter of the late Zenith Stewart and Mary L. Craig. In early life she moved with her parents to Pettis County near Green Ridge. On Oct 2, 1912, was married to Eri Calvert Ruffin, and they spent all their married life on their farm in Pettis County. Mr. Ruffin died on June 19, 1960. Preceding her in death besides her husband was one daughter, Phynas Craig and one sister, Ida Bell Marshall. After the death of her husband she has since resided in Windsor. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Windsor. Surviving are one daughter Mrs. Belford Jackson, Leeton; one son Emmett Ruffin, Route 1, Green Ridge, one granddaughter, Mrs. Jim Reed, Green Ridge; two grandsons, B. Darrell Jackson, New Haven, and Kent R. Jackson, New Orleans, La., one great grandson, four sisters, Mrs. Ozellah Gregory and Mrs. Ollie Mines, both of Sedalia; Mrs. Ethel Bond, Otterville, and Mrs. Lucy Taylor, Windsor. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church Windsor, at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Fred Rains officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery.
