SCHMIDLI OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== SCHMIDLI, Hansler Holland 1911 - 1992 Hansler Holland Schmidli, son of Henry and Matilda Holland Schmidli, was born May 5, 1911, in Finey, Missouri, and passed away on February 10, 1992, at the golden Valley Hospital, Clinton. He was a life-long Henry County resident living in Finey and later moving to Clinton. He owned and operated Schmidli Trucking in Clinton until he retired in 1976. He was a member of Northeast Baptist Church, Clinton. He was married to Lucille Ferro in 1935 at Marshall. To this union, three children were born, Lois, Betty and Ed. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Anna Lois Ross in 1988 and one sister, Ann Ruth Schmidli. He is survived by his wife, Lucille, of the home; one son, Ed, and wife, Kathy, of Clinton; one daughter, Betty Duke of Independence, and six grandchildren, Mark Duke of Kansas City, Mitch Duke of Houston, Texas, Chris Juel of New Orleans, Louisiana, David Juel of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Stacy Schmidli, Clinton, and Abby Schmidli of Clinton. Funeral services were held February 12, 1992, at 10:30 a.m. at the Northeast Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Jim Hammock. Victory in Jesus and What Day That Will Be were sung by Bill McCoy and Virginia Graham was the organist. Pallbearers were Norman Paul, Terry Keyte, Mitch Duke, Mark Duke, Johnnie Carroll and Chris Juel. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Leonard Post, Charles Millam, Everett Austin, Lewis Delozier, Jim Brasier and Elvin Hoggs.
