Kansas City Star Oct 14 1999 - Lucille Shelten, 83, Creighton, MO, passed away 
Monday, October 11, 1999, at Clinton Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in 
Clinton, MO. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 15, at the United 
Methodist Church, Creighton, MO; burial in Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, MO. 
Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 14, at the Dickey Funeral 
Home, Garden City, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the United 
Methodist Church Memorial Fund, Creighton, MO, and may be left at the funeral 
home. (Arrangements: Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, MO)

SHELTON, Marjorie HOOD n/a - 1997

Marjorie Hood Shelton, Oak Grove, died Sunday morning, June 22, 1997, in a Blue 
Springs hospital.  Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, at the gravesite 
in Oak Grove, with Royers Funeral Home in charge.  Mrs. Shelton has a number of 
cousins in this area, including C. M. "Bo" Hood, Ruby Hull, Roy Hendrick, Clifford 
Hendrick, all of Clinton, and several others in this area.  Mrs. Shelton had been in 
failing health for several years.


SHELTON, Pines H. 1809 - 1888

Clinton MO, Jan 1888 - Col. P. H. Shelton, one of Henry county's old settlers, died 
at Windsor, Tuesday, aged 79, disease being pneumonia. He was a native of 
Virginia and has resided in this county since 1870.
