SHRODER, Walter 1884 - 1944

Walter Shroder, born in March 1884, passed away Jan, 24, 1944, at a hospital in 
Clinton, Mo. at the age of 60 years. His home was between Urich and Clinton. He is 
survived by his wife, two daughters, Freda Barnhart and Thelma Luelliwn; two 
sons Estel and Vernon. The sons are in the armed forces. Estel was on furlough at 
the time his father passed away. Vernon is in Ireland. He is also survived by five 
brothers: Omar Shroder of near Garland; Dave Shroder in California; Edward 
Shroder of Clinton, Mo. and Bryan Shroder of Hartwell , Mo. Three sisters also 
survive. They are; Mrs. Ella Longbottom of Kansas City, Mo.; Lou Jarvis of Detroit, 
Mich. and Blance Combs of California. He is buried in Hickory Grove cemetery near 
Urich, Mo.
