SWANAGON, James W. (Jim) 1927 - 1999

James W. (Jim) Swanagon, Jr., 71, Clinton, died Monday, March 15, 1999, at 
Liberty. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at 
Consalus Chapel in Clinton. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Mr. 
Swanagon was born August 18, 1927, in Clinton, the son of James W. Swanagon, 
Sr., and Freida Rentchler Swanagon. He married Georgia Wilson on November 12, 
1948, and hauled livestock for a living. Mr. Swanagon is survived by his wife, 
Georgia, of the home; two sons, Richard and Roger, both of Clinton; one daughter 
Judy Althoff, Liberty, MO. He was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Ann 
Swanagon and one son, Jerry Ray Swanagon.
