TEMPEL, Floy V. PARK 1914 - 1998

Floy V. Park Tempel, 84, Clinton, died Monday, December 24, 1998, at Golden 
Valley Hospital in Clinton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 31, 
1998, at Consalus Chapel, Clinton. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery, 
Warrensburg. Mrs. Tempel was born July 17, 1914, in Chilhowee, the daughter of 
General Lafayette and Adah (Valentine) Park. She lived in Chilhowee many years 
before moving to Clinton. On February 14, 1934, she married Karl Tempel, who 
preceded her in death. She was the head seamstress for Kemper Military Academy 
and a member of the Community United Methodist Church in Chilhowee. She is 
survived by one son, William Tempel, Oakton, VA, and two grandchildren, Julia 
Tempel Nothnagel, Leawood, KS, and Carolyn Tempel Dingman, Norcross, GA. (A 
sister of Beulah Park Journey, Clinton).
