THURMAN, Gilbert J. n/a - 1992

Gilbert J. Thurman, 76, Harrisonville, a brother of Betty Huffman of Clinton, died 
Saturday, December 26, 1992, at the Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville. Services 
will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville; burial in the 
Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill in Cass County. Friends may call from 7 to 
8:30 p.m. Monday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the 
memorial fund of the First Baptist Church of Harrisonville. Mr. Thurman was born 
in Blue Springs and lived in Napoleon, Mo., before he moved to Cass County in 
1947. He was a farmer. He was a member of the church. Survivors include his 
wife, Dorothy Thurman of the home; a daughter, Ellen Kindle, Newburg; a brother, 
Frank B. Thurman, Archie, and a sister, Betty E. Huffman, Clinton.
