TINDELL OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== TINDELL, William 1870 - 1893 Died, January 20, 1893, William Tindell; son of William and Tilatha Tindell of Urich, Mo., aged 22 years, 10 months and 8 days. The subject of our memoir was born in Lafayette county, Mo., March 12, 1870, and with his parents removed to Henry county about ten years ago. He was the youngest of three brothers. The other two, John, of Kansas City, and Jasper, of Sedalia, were at his bedside when the messenger of death summoned him home. The life of Willie was almost a life of affliction, but Job-like, he bore it patiently to the end. At the age of 18, he had a hard spell of fever, which settled in one of his lower limbs and made him a cripple to the day of his death. A few years after he was attacked with Brights disease, which shattered his remaining faculties of health, the ravages of which is supposed to have ended his career on earth. His home had always continued with his devoted father and mother, who with anxious and tender care, had watched over him in his many years of affliction. He was their youngest - the idol - which attachment had so tenderly bound their affections to. Relatives and friends had he many, and the beaming countenance of Willie shed its rays of light upon all. He was a nephew of Uncle John Dunaway, one of our most esteemed citizens, and often would he frequent our neighborhood, the haunts of childhood days. Three years ago he professed religion, but had never attached himself to any church. He led an exemplary life, and seemed not to dread the finale, when his afflictions might cease and his soul be at rest. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. L. Brown of the Baptist Church, who depicted in pathetic terms the career of one who had so patiently borne up through days of long suffering? He was laid to rest in Carrsville cemetery, Sunday, Jan. 22, 1893, to await the resurrection morn. The parents of the deceased wish to return their heartfelt thanks to friends who sympathized with them in their sad bereavement. TINDELL, William W. 1826 - 1914 William W.
