UHLENBOCK OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== UHLENBOCK, Pearl L. FREEMAN 1903 - 1996 Pearl L. Uhlenbock, 92, died Sunday evening, July 7, 1996, at the Lincoln Community Nursing Home in Lincoln. She was born in the Oklahoma Indian Territory near Miami, Oklahoma, on August 16, 1903, the daughter of Henry and Mattie Owens Freeman. At the age of three, she moved with her family to Benton County. She grew up there and graduated from Windsor High School in the class of 1922. She then attended college at Southwest Baptist College in Bolivar and later received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the Central Missouri State Teachers College at Warrensburg. She then began a 29 year career, teaching in rural schools in Benton, Henry and Pettis counties. On June 25, 1930, she married William F. Uhlenbock at Sedalia. Following their marriage they made their home near Roseland. To this marriage one daughter and one son were born. Following her retirement in 1969 they moved to their home in Lincoln. Mr. Uhlenbock preceded her in death on May 10, 1975. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln. She is survived by one son, William E. Uhlenbock and his wife, Karen of Calhoun, and one daughter, Frances Wright, and her husband, Wilbur, of Lincoln; three grandchildren, Steve Wright, Stanley Wright and Sheree Eckhoff, all of Lincoln; three great-grandchildren; three nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 10, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lincoln. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, near Roseland. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home in Lincoln. The family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church of Lincoln or Mt.
