UPTEGROVE, Harold Lee 1938 - 1996

Harold Lee Uptegrove, 58, rural Windsor, died Friday afternoon, August 30, 1996, 
at his sister-in-law's home in Blue Springs. He was born April 22, 1938, in 
Gravois Mills, the son of Harold Milo Uptegrove and Rose Laverne (Fletcher) 
Uptegrove. On September 7, 1956, in Stover, he married LaDonna Carolyn Fletcher, 
who survives of the home. Mr. Uptegrove was a carpenter all of his working life, 
spending the last 20 years as a foreman for the J. E. Construction Company in 
Kansas City. He was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church near Windsor and 
was a member of the Carpenter's Union. Local #61, Kansas City. He enjoyed 
hunting and fishing and especially loved his grandchildren. In addition to his 
wife, he is survived by three daughters, Rhonda DeLong, Odessa, Renee' Peel, 
Adrian, and Laura Reis, Lee's Summit; two brothers, Larry Uptegrove, rural 
Windsor, and Ken Uptegrove, Gravois Mills; a sister, Frona Bruce, Warrensburg; 
nine grandchildren, Andrea', Travis, Brandon, Aaron, Brenna, Brice, Hannah, 
Brooke, Rachel, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Tuesday, 
September 3, at 11 a.m. at the Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Foggin and 
Rev. Doug Ryan officiating. Burial was in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor.
