VANSANT OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== VANSANT, Julia Leota STEVENS HENDRICH 1905 - 1996 Julia Leota Vansant, daughter of John and Della (Wilson) Stevens, was born January 7, 1905, in Henry County, and died September 21, 1996, at the Westwood Nursing Home in Clinton at the age of 91 years. She was a lifelong area resident. She worked for McCune's Ladies Wear. She was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church and the Mt. Carmel Quilting Club. Leota was married to Frederick L. Hendrich and to this union six children were born. Mr. Hendrich preceded her in death on October 12, 1944. She was later married to Emmett A. Vansant who survives. She is also survived by four sons, Linvill Hendrich, Danville, California, John L. Hendrich, Kansas City, Chester E. Hendrich, North Augusta, South Carolina, and Donald L. Hendrich, El Paso, Texas; two daughters, Peggy Ann Clouse, Kansas City, and Mary Kay Stephens, Lawrence, Kansas, and 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Clinton United Methodist Church Tuesday, September 24, at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Maggi and Rev. Tom Vansant officiating. "Morning Has Broken" and "Lord of the Dance" were sung by the congregation with Sam Lucas as the organist. Pallbearers were Paul Clouse, Mark Clouse, Kirk Hatfield, Doug Stephens, Bob Lisher and Scott Holzmeister.
