VENABLE OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== VENABLE, Nancy Irene BARDWELL 1926 - 1993 Nancy Irene Venable, 66, formerly of Leeton, passed away Friday, July 2, 1993, at the home of her daughter, Ruth Carr, in Clinton. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas, on October 2, 1926, to Alonzo Hulen and Lillian May Bardwell. She had traveled in many of the states as a young girl. She married Edgar Paul Venable on November 24, 1956, in Kansas City. She was a dedicated member of the Clinton LDS Church. She was preceded in death by three siblings. She had been a nurse's aid for many years. She loved being around people. She retired in 1978. Always the kind heart, she was loved by man. She is survived by three daughters and four sons, Ruth Carr, Clinton, Mary Crawford, Deepwater, Margurite Mixen, Collinsville, Il., Michael Bronson, Winchester, Va., Walter Bronson, Holly Hill, Fl., David Venable, Warrensburg, Edgar Venable, who is stationed in Germany. she has 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several sisters and brothers, Rose Lee McCleary, Kansas City, Ks., Wanda Bardwell, Kansas City, Clara Johnson and Glen Elder, Ks., Ronald Bardwell, Kansas City, Ks., Darryl Bardwell, Kansas City, Ks., Kenneth Bardwell, San Ladro, Ca., Joseph Bardwell, Kansas City, Ks., George Bardwell, Kansas City, Ks., and Robert Bardwell, unknown residence. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 1993, at the Consalus Chapel, Clinton. President Martin Cooper officiated. "How Great Thou Art", "When There's Love At Home" and "Where He Leads Me" were played by organist Marlene Griner. Pallbearers were Edgar Paul Venable, Michael Stephen Carr, Shane Edward Fore, Sam Leipard, Dwight Sanders and Weldon Hill.
