WESTLAKE OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== WESTLAKE, Gertrude Grace THOMAS 1898 - 1995 Gertrude Grace Westlake, daughter of Cornelius Wilkins and Delilah Jane Stone Thomas, was born October 28, 1898, in Iberia, Mo., and died November 22, 1995, in Clinton, at the age of 97 years and 24 days. She was married to Ralph Westlake who preceded her in death on October 3, 1975. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Windsor and belonged to the Christian Women's Fellowship. She also belonged to the Royal Neighbors of America. Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, tow brothers, one niece and one nephew. She is survived by one niece, Janeal Beaverstad of Lee's Summit; five great-nephews, David Jones and Anthony Wells of Clinton and William Stevens, Patrick Wells and Chris Thomas, all of Deepwater; three great-nieces, Linda Moreland, Carol Wells and Cheryl Reid, all of Clinton; as well as nine great- great-nieces and seven great-great-nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Vansant-Mills Chapel Saturday, November 25, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Alan Anzalone officiating. How Great Thou Art was sung by David L. Mills and Peggy Arthur with Mrs. Arthur playing the organ. Pallbearers were William Stevens, Robert Allen, David Jones, Robert Allen, Jr., Gerald Heistand and Anthony Wells.
