WILKINSON, Fred Sr. 1891 - 1983

Fred Wilkinson, Sr., 91, Marshall, died February 4, 1983, at Columbia Regional 
Hospital, where he had been a patient for two weeks. He was a Clinton funeral 
director for a number of years and he and Mrs. Wilkinson were active in many 
community projects. He had moved to Marshall four years ago. Mrs. Wilkinson died 
in January 1970. Mr. Wilkinson was a native Kansan and was born in Neosho 
Rapids on March 25, 1891, the son of Marquis D. Lafayette Wilkinson and Sarah 
Robbins Wilkinson. Surviving him are his daughter, Betty Lee Blakeney of Medina, 
WA; a son, Fred Jr. of Marshall. Funeral services were Monday, February 7, with 
Masonic rites at Sweeney-Reser Funeral Home in Marshall. Entombment was in Mt. 
Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City on Tuesday, Feb 8, 1983.
