WISKUR OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== WISKUR, Lawrence N. "L. N." 1913 - 1992 Lawrence N. (L. N.) Wiskur, 79, rural Leeton, died Sunday morning, December 13, 1992 at Golden Valley Hospital. He was born August 27, 1913 at Burlington, Ks., the son of Nickolas Edward Wiskur and Anna Pearl Lafferty Wiskur. On December 16, 1945, near Windsor, he married May Edna Harms, who survives of the home. Mr. Wiskur was a farmer and raised registered hogs on his farm south of Leeton for a number of years. He was a member of the Leeton United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kenneth Wiskur, Warsaw, Henry Wiskur, Leeton; a daughter, Janet Akers, Clinton; five grandchildren; five brothers, Neal Wiskur, Overland Park, Ks., Joe Wiskur and Clinton Wiskur, both of Deepwater, Robert Wiskur, Hughesville, Dale Wiskur, Harrisonville; four sisters, Rose Nickols, Cortez, Colo., Winnie McCracken, Humansville, Pauline Fridley, Windsor, Dorothy Kohake, Roeland Park, Ks. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 15, 2 p.m. at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Rev. Richard Seaton officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends Monday evening, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the Leeton United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home. Casket bearers will be Shelby Wiskur, Colby Wiskur, Lonnie Findley, Bill Peters, Alvin Crooks and H. P.
