WITZEL, Joseph 1841 - 1923

Joseph Witzel died January 9, 1923 of pneumonia. He was born in Germany May 
13, 1841, and was in his 82nd year. Mr. Witzel is survived by his beloved wife and 
six children: Mrs. Henry Bettels, Mrs. John Brownsberger, Mrs. Albert Cook, Mrs. 
Lawrence Witman, John and Martin Witzel. The funeral services were held at the 
Germantown church Friday afternoon. Interment in the cemetery nearby.
