ZENER OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== ZENER, Anna E. CARMACK 1849 - 1919 Mrs. Anna Zener Died - At her home in Kansas City, Jan. 20th, after an illness of several weeks with dropsy and being in poor health for some time. Deceased was about 70 years old and resided in Clinton a number of years, when her husband, Melvin Zener, was in the drug business on the north side of the square. He has been dead about 15 years. They built the house where Dr. Barr now resides and this was their home for a number of years. She is survived by one son, Herbert, of Kansas City; two daughters - Misses Margaret, who is in the office of the agriculture college at Manhattan, Kas.; and Ethel, who is a photographer in Kansas City. She was a member of the First M. E. church years ago. The body was brought to Clinton and the funeral services conducted at the First M. E. church last Friday afternoon by Rev. J. N. Pierce, who was a friend of deceased. He was assisted by the pastor, Rev. Hoos.
