Fowler, elder son of Andro F. and Ida M. (Suiter) Fowler was born near Pittsburg Mo, October 27, 1898 and died at his home near his birthplace, aged 29 years and 29 days. He was married to Aubrey C. Thurman January 28, 1917. To this union were born three children, William Frank, age 9; Willa Fae, age 4, George Jr, age 22 months. He leaves to mourn his loss his sisters, Rachall Taylor, of Amoret Mo; Callie Bowen and Esther Skidmore of Flemington Mo; Alma Vaughn of Hermitage Mo; Mable Fisher of Pittsburg Mo; and one brother Andro N. Fowler of Pittsburg Mo; one sister Lydia Vaughn preceded him in death November 11 1919. He was a kind and loving husband and father and his friends were numbered by those that knew him. His motto seemed to be, "Service to others" and however busy he was always ready to lend a helping hand to his fellowman. He professed faith in Christ in the fall of 1916 in a meeting held by Rev. Joe Babb and united with the Christian church at Antioch. He lived a faithful christian life up until his death. His death came as a sad ending to an accidental discharge from his shotgun while out hunting. After lingering for seven days he passed into the great beyond. His furneral was preached October 26, 1927 to the relatives and a very large congregation of sorrowful friends by his pastor, Rev.
