Death resulting from complications following an abcessed tooth. He was sick about four months. The deceased was born in Sweden and came to America with his mother and sister when about nine months old joining his father who had settled at Marshfield Mo. Later they moved to Preston Mo where he grew to manhood. He was married to Eliza Morgan November 29, 1891, and with his family moved to Rupert in March 1919, where he was living at the time of his death. He is survived by his widow, a sister, Mrs Clara Fugate and eight children, Elmer, Homer, Charles, Thomas, Mabel and Anna Johnson, Mrs W. O. Ames and Mrs John West, all of whom were with him at the time of his death with the exception of his son, Elmer , who is at college at Station, Texas, and his sister, who resides at Pittsburg Mo. Funeral services conducted by Rev. W.F.R. Hartley were held at the undertaking parlors at two o'clock Tuesday evening, interment in the Rupert Cemetery.
