Mary A Wrinkle was born in Tennessee, December 19, 1829, and died at the home of her son near Nemo, Mo., July 12, 1909, age 79 years, 7 months and 2 days. She was married to John Wrinkle, August 1, 1864. To this union nine children were given, four boys and five girls and all but three girls are living. Wrinkle, Nemo, Mo,: Mrs. Florence Inks, Bolivar, Mo.; Mrs. Clemmie Lindsey, Urbana, Mo. The husband died in Jauary of 1899. Deceased was converted in 1861, and united with the Bethel church at Nemo, in 1880, and remained a member until death. She enjoyed attending church and when her affliction was to much that she could not got she asked that services be held in her home. The last two years of her life she was in bed most of the time and often spoke of how necessary it was to be ready, when the summons comes and of her hope in heaven. She leaves six of the family and goes to be with four in the “Home Over There”. May the six here be ready when the summons comes so that the family will be unbroken around the throne of God, where parting is no more. The funeral services were conducted by Bethel Church, Thursday, July 22 at 10:00am by Rev. J.W. Alexander, pastor of the Baptist Church of Bolivar, Mo., and Rev. J.T. Ferguson of Nemo, Mo; after which her body was laid to rest in the Bethel Cemetery. “Oh, how sweet to be in that beautiful land, So free from all sorrow and pain, With songs on out lips and with harps in hands, To meet one another again.” J.W.
